"You’re going to get us into even more trouble if you keep eating those," Annabeth continued to grumble as she reached for a few more strawberries. Tossing them into the basket in front of her, she silently admitted to herself that the punishment wasn’t all that bad. She was actually enjoying herself, but she wasn’t about to give Percy that satisfaction. He was the reason they were stuck with this chore, after all.
"Who’s gonna know?" Annabeth heard him say. She shook her head and scooted forward. He went on, not taking her cue, "Besides, you’re not fooling me."
She turned to give him a look, but paused. He had a strawberry between his teeth and was leaning toward her. His next words were hindered by the fruit, but she could make them out, “You know you want some.”
